We’re headquartered on the Marshall Square with a 2nd location on the MVC Campus. At our MVC Store, you can find MVC hats, jackets, customizable tees & sweatshirts, polos, pants, shorts, socks, backpacks and tons of other items to fuel your team spirit. Our Services

The Early Years

Viking Athletic Goods was founded in 1973 in Marshall, Missouri when two former Missouri Valley College football teammates; Dwain Hall and Ron Porter partnered in business. With their passion for sports, customer service and a genuine desire to provide quality athletic equipment at a value no one else could match, their business grew. Over the years, Viking Athletic Goods became, and continues to be, a highly regarded and reputable outfitter of athletic equipment among high schools, colleges, and athletes.

Today

Today, second generation owners George and Michelle Porter along with George's mother and father, Ron & Mary Lou Porter continue the family tradition. Ron and Mary Lou are proud graduates of Missouri Valley College; they not only are proud graduates, but they both love to help the school and the community in any way they can! George and Michelle's son, Collin Porter, joined the business in 2018; he has brought great ideas and innovation to the business. The Porter family today continues to provide sports apparel, not only for community, but for the Missouri Valley College and local schools and organizations.
